Tracy Carmen Jones (B'85)

Tracy Carmen Jones is the founder of the Waterlight Group, a leadership coaching and management consulting firm, founded on the idea that individuals and organizations can consistently reach higher levels of performance by developing future-oriented strategies, cultivating skills, and sharpening interpersonal behaviors.

Jones is also a leadership coach providing individual and team-based to high potential and C-suite leaders, leveraging coaching best practices and real work experience to help them refine their intentions, presence, and behaviors in the workplace and cultivate professional growth. She has worked as an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown University for college preparation programs for high school teens. Jones is the creative spark behind WaterLight Group’s PITstop program, a series of experiential workshops designed to facilitate self-awareness and stimulate participants to move towards committed goals. She is also a frequent speaker on empowerment and the importance of bringing your true self to work.

A proud supporter of developing leadership in children though scouting, Jones is a Girl Scout leader and a persistent stand, advocate, and guide behind boys journeying to become Eagle Scouts.

Jones received her Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from the Georgetown Institute for Transformational Leadership. She is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she earned her MBA at the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She also received her B.S.B.A. from Georgetown University.

Jones will be serve as a panelist for Level Up: The Benefits of Executive Coaching with Muriel Wilkins (B'92) and Corey Fields, Idol Family Term Chair in Sociology.
